I haven't owned that many juicers but compared to my old one(sorry but cannot remember the name brand at this time) this one is way, way, way better. The Jack Lalanne PJP Power Pro Stainless-Steel Electric Juicer juicing just about any fruit and vegetable you can think of. And when it juices it juices really fast and surprisingly pretty quiet too. I was also jumping up for joy when I saw how much juice came from my fruit. This juicer is definitely worth the money so far. Oh and it's also very easy to clean up when you are done juicing. So far no complaints yet.

I searched all over the internet for the best juicer for the best price. After studying all the reviews, I bought a Jack LaLanne PJP Power Juicer Pro about a month ago. I couldn't be happier! I use it twice a day--I make a green drink every morning and fruit juice smoothie every evening--and I love it. It is totally worth the money, is very easy to use, and easy to clean. For those people who are worried about how much clean up time is required (like I was), don't be; it only takes a few minutes. I recommend washing it immediately after juicing so the pulp won't dry in the juicer. Also, put a small plastic bag (trash bag, grocery store bag, etc.) in the pulp catcher & that cuts clean up time in half. If I'm rushed, I just put it in the dishwasher. It's a great buy!

I PURCHASED THE JACK LALANNE POWER JUICER CLASSIC, USED IT ABOUT 10 TIMES. MOTOR STARTED SMELLING THAN STOPPED, YES..... I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS .
NOW I HAVE TO PAY TO SHIP IT TO TRISTAR AND I AM TO ENCLOSE $29.99 FOR THEM TO SHIP IT BACK TO ME. WHEN I ORDERED THE JUICER BY TELEPHONE THE OPERATOR WANTED TO KNOW IF I WANTED A RECONDITIONED ONE FOR HALF PRICE. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST RED FLAG.
DO I REALLY WANT TO INVEST AN ADDITIONAL $60 AND TAKE THE CHANCE THAT I MIGHT HAVE TO GO DOWN THIS ROAD AGAIN . AFTER READING SIMILAR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON THIS JACK LALANNE POWER JUICER I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE.

We finally come to a decision, my wife and I, to invest on ourselves, our future, our health. This machine changes our daily routine and the results are stunning. It is very easy to used, almost self clean and the best part is quite when it's running. Our goal is achieved, no more excuses, and no more dilates. I've had my juicer for about 6-8 months and love it! We mostly prefer the fruit drinks over the veggies. I will throw in a carrot or celery at times. The ONLY problems I had with the machine was when I tried to juice a peach...major mess. Checked my owners manual and sure enough peach was one listed that would clog the mesh if you tried to juice it (bananas and mangos too). The other problem was the spout, it would splatter as the juice came out. All I did was put a piece of duct tape over the top...problem fixed and as much as I enjoy juicing...I can live with it.
Those who've had problems and claim it's junk...are we talking about the same product or did I get lucky?
